A Wheat Cultivation project (varieties SC Stallion, SC Sky and SC Nduna) is being held on a 12 acres plot in Le Val, Cluny. The plot is being regularly monitored on a weekly basis. An average seed emergence of 98% was recorded for all the three varieties about one week after emergence. Some essential plant parameters such as plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, number of internodes and number of spikelets are recorded during weekly site visits. At present date, 7 weeks after sowing, the crop has started to produce spikelets.
